I really liked Cody and Heather. I’m always one who is on the underdog’s side from the start. And Cody can certainly hold his own, and his brother is on his side, for the most part. But dear old dad is a… let’s just cal him a pain in the butt to be polite. As Cody and Heather grow closer, trying out this intense attraction they feel for each other, danger is getting closer as well.

Desert Blood brings us extreme danger, an evil villain, a closer look at several other pack members who will certainly have their own stories told one day, and brings in previous couples as well for an overall continuing of life in the pack. The action is fast paced, the sexy moments hot and steamy and the love is real and long lasting. What more could you ask for?

If you love Shifter Romance and haven’t yet read The Wolves of Twin Moon Ranch or the connecting series, Blue Moon Saloon – what are you waiting for? There’s a new title being released in March 2017 for this series so you really should get caught up before then. You’ll find a good story line, engaging couples and interesting secondary characters, plus some bad guys to totally loathe. It’s a win all around. I’d definitely recommend this title and these series to any Shifter Romance reader.

I received this ARC of this book to read and give my opinion in a honest review.

This is a Fantastic paranormal romance with lots of sensual scenes. I loved reading this storyline it's witty, amazing, humorous, fascinating and the kind of storyline I have come to expect from Anne Lowe, she is one talented author her imagination is one many of us wish we had. Her characters are fantastic, strong, mind-blowing HOT and everything you would like to fantasize about. The dialog is compelling, great, makes you laugh out loud. This is one book that will be hard to put down. This is a SPECTACULAR fast paced well written story by a truly gifted author and Always remember in the world of shifters the possibilities are endless but it's always fascinating.It’s book 2 in a awesome series and this is a great addition to this series. There is lots of action involved. You get to visit the characters that you already know from written previous story. I really love when we get to visit with them too.

Heather is a human school teacher and who goes out with her friend to a club to meet her friend’s new man and he brings a friend. Heather gets a funny feeling about these two guys. She try's to get her friend to leave, but her friend doesn't get away. Heather drives a long time ending up in Arizona. She finds a temporary job as a teacher, she meets Cody he lives on the ranch. Heather is attracted to Cody and she thinks she hit the jackpot because he is everything she has always wanted in a man. But Cody has a secret, he is a werewolf and his father is the Alpha.

Cody is a gorgeous wolf shifter and one of the Alpha's son. His older brother will be Alpha and is his father favorite. Because when he was younger he was a womanizer didn't want any responsibility. But now he's older he wants to prove to himself and his father he has change. Then women are being killed, found drained of blood and mutilated, Cody feels he must fine the killer. Because he feels he has found his mate the human school teacher Heather.

This is a SPECTACULAR addition to this series. You don't want to miss any book in this series! If you are looking for a Spectacular paranormal book then you need to read this series. This is a great book to add to your TBR list. I'm so excited about reading the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.

If you believe in the world of paranormal romance, the possibilities are endless and fascinating!

I really enjoyed this sequel and the two main characters in this story. I loved Cody from the first book and Heather was easy to like as well. I loved Cody’s easy-going personality compared to Ty’s. I also understood why he choose to be the comedian. I disliked how negatively Ty and his father judged him. As for Heather, I absolutely loved her spirit and willingness to fight for herself. No wilting flower here. Her innate understanding of Cody was wonderful. I like how fiercely she was willing to defend him when needed.

The kids were great for the humorous aspect of the story. It was easy to fall in love with them especially the class clown, Timmy. He’s a little charmer. I was glad that Heather took a special interest in him.

Ms. Lowe did an excellent job of weaving the love story with humor, mystery and suspense. I appreciated that the characters in this story didn’t have quite as much internal dialogue as the first story. That helped the story actually flow better. I can’t wait to read the next one.
