I am writing this review especially for people who don't normally read these types of books (paranormal EroRom), because this was the first such book for me. I bought this book because I have Angela Knight's book on writing (which is very good BTW) and I needed some guidance on how to write love scenes. I am a mystery writer, so these don't come naturally to me.

The love scenes are generally very well crafted, and helped me to understand point of view. But what really surprised me was that I grew to love the characters in this book, especially Kel. When I first began reading the book, I admit I was a bit snotty about it. My books have quite a bit of hard forensic science in them, so this "Mageverse" stuff was weird to me. At first. Then, as I adjusted to the idea that the hero was a dragon who could assume human form, I came to appreciate the world that Knight created.

Where could you find a better hero than Kel? He has it all: he's handsome, courageous, and a great warrior. But he's also kind and sweet, which is important since (as I already mentioned) he is a huge dragon when he's not a buff guy who can do magic. I fell in love with Kel, which means that Knight did her job!

I'm glad that I gave this book a chance and did not dismiss it out of hand because it's outside my usual choice of genres. Most people who buy this book will be familiar with the Mageverse, and if that describes you, then you will really enjoy the story. But if you are new to EroRom or Paranormal Romance, you should know that there is a lot of sex here (and it's good), but it is a rocking magical adventure too. Good stuff!

This book was amazing! I found myself scared when she was scared and Happy when everyone was happy, and sad when they were sad. This book brought out all emotions in me and I loved it ❤️❤️
I read this years ago and it's still just as good today. You have a heroic dragon, that's a knight of the round table, a fairy princess, goddess and a god combined with bad guys. Shake stir and bake. There ya go. Fun read.
This has the appearance of the end of the series or at least the end of this part of the series. I hope that the author will continue with this intriguing mageverse series even though with different characters and perspective.

The characters are very compelling with suitably villainous villains. The plot starts out kind of linear but has a couple complications along they way as well as humor. A nicely done ending with a suitably violent battle. The erotic scenes are very well done as usual without the tedium that seems to have crept into LKHs scenes.

Very highly recommended for those with the taste for erotic fantasy.
I have the whole series including most if not all of the anthology stories. I was really looking forward to this 1 because of the excerpt from the previous book, only problem is only part semi happened, there was a scene with Diana & Llyr when the sword is stolen that was altered slightly in the book, the part with Kel & the school terrorists doesn't happen in the book that I read & I was looking forward to it. There is 1 bizarre bit near the end, Kel tells Nineva they have to bond (like the Majae do) so they do with absolutely no explanation of how a dragon & a half human/half fairy managed to do a Majae specific thing.
This book was a very nice book to read.
I thought it was a little short and would of liked to see a bit more into it since it would seem to be the last of this series, which I enjoyed very much.

But even thought the book was short it kept me quite entertained, the sex was very steamy and passionate and the adventures were just as thrilling.

All in all I was happy with the book, although my favorite is still Master of the Sword with Gawain and Lark )

If you havent read the other books you might be a little confused since previous people are brought into play but the author as usual does a good job to tell you what is what and to those who did read the other books its not to annoyingly repeated as to what happened.
This is your standard paranormal romance

-extremely beautiful yet humble (she doesn't know she's pretty) coming into her powers heroine - check
-hot and powerful magically gifted love interest who's slept with thousands of women decides to settle down when he meets said heroine - check
-model perfect protagonists and antagonists - check
-multiple sex scenes ending in conception - check
-generic fantasy-lite story line - check
-shallow and easy to read - check
If you have read any Angela Knight books you know they are "HOT" well be prepared this one is dynamite. As a matter of fact over half the book is in the bedroom, so to speak. Nevertheless, the story is fantastic. I don't know if this is the last one in the Mageverse, but I would think not. However, after this one she may have to stretch to get another one with as much action in the bedroom and out.

Nineva Morrow is a half human/half fairy princess, she is the avatar of a Goddess,Semira, who is imprisioned in a sword. She has been raised to know her destiny is to free the Goddess. She has visions and dreams of a blue dragon incinerating her. So she is not exactly thrilled to meet Kel.

Kel is a cobalt blue dragon, for 1500 yrs he was imprisoned in a sword. His friendship with Gwain got him through and in MASTER OF SWORDS he was finally released. Now the God of the Dragons has asked him to protect Nineva and help her release Semira. Semira is a fertility goddess and needs to be recharged by her avatar. Kel and Nineva do their best to recharge the goddess.

The Dark Ones are after Nineva, they have already stolen Llyr's sword and using the power of Nineva and Semira they will destroy the wards Merlin left to protect Earth.

This is a wonderful adult type fairy tale, and I liked it. It really did remind me of the fairy tales I read as a child, but with alot more detail and intimacy. Most of the characters from her other books make an appearance in this one.
